Pot magnets are flexible all-rounders, which are used commercially as well as in private. We have the right magnets for every application at MagnetiQ. Starting from magnets with hooks, with hole and counter-bore, to screw magnets to magnets with threaded bushes and threaded pins.
Special features of pot magnets
The magnet is inset in a metal pot in this type of magnet. This pot changes the magnetic flux. As a consequence, the holding force is reinforced on only one adhesive surface. The magnets for screw fitting as well as those with hole and counter-bore, the magnet is made very flat. For this reason, they get the byname flat grippers.
Fixing variants of pot magnets
The magnets can be mounted in different ways due to their design. So, the magnets for screw fitting have an inner threading to fix it with a screw. The magnets with hole and counter-bore add the inner threading to a counter-bore so that it locks perfectly with the apt countersunk screw. Magnets with threaded bushing can be fixed on a matching counterpart with external threading. On the other hand, magnets with threaded pins are screw fitted in a bushing.
Applications of magnets with threading and hooks
Pot magnets are now indispensable in store fixtures and exhibition booths. Suspend posters, decorate, mount notices of special offers – the magnets with hooks help along quickly here. Screw magnets are optimum for use in kitchen fitting and furniture making. Just like in the assembly in private household or in the field of hobbies.
Please note while selecting of the appropriate magnets that the specified holding force was always measured at right angle to the adhesive surface.
