The calendar cover strips are attached as protective strips to the bottom edge of paper desk pads to prevent creases and dog-ears. In addition, the protective edges enhance the writing pads and serve as a clipboard for photos, business cards and notes. The PVC strip is called "calendar cover strip" because the desk pads often have a calendar printed on the bottom, which is covered by the strip. However, if a transparent protective strip is used, the calendar is of course still readable. Colored accents are set by our cardboard reinforced, opaque cover strips.
To attach the self-adhesive calendar protection strip, first remove the cover paper of the adhesive strip and then stick the calendar flap to the back of the desk pad. After pressing on the adhesive surface, the cover strip is folded over to the front. To ensure that the strips fit snugly onto the desk pads and do not stand up again, the desk pads should be placed in the stack with the top side down immediately after the protection strips have been glued on. Due to their own weight, the strips are pressed against the block and thus they nestle beautifully against the desk pads. When gluing under cold conditions, it may be advisable to warm the stack a little at the back to make the PVC softer and more supple for an optimal result.
